Daily schedule

Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities.

Morning circle:

9:00 a.m.

Our day begins with a warm and welcoming morning meeting where children greet each other and participate in activities such as reciting the morning prayer, singing the national anthem, updating the calendar and weather, introducing new letters and numbers for the week, and discussing the day’s activities.

Child choice time:

9:00 a.m. – 9:25 a.m.

Children engage in a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote learning in different areas. This time also includes a teacher-guided activity to nurture their skills and creativity.

Clean up time

9:25 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

All children work together to tidy up and organize the classroom, instilling a sense of responsibility and teamwork.

Story time:

10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

The teacher narrates a story related to the current curriculum, often inspired by Indian culture or values, encouraging imagination and fostering a love for storytelling.

Snack time:

11:00 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.

Children bring snacks from home. Snack time begins with washing hands, followed by children enjoying their homemade snacks. They are encouraged to participate in serving and cleaning up afterward.

Quiet time:

11:50 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Children enjoy a short rest period at their snack tables while listening to soothing Indian classical or instrumental music, helping them relax and recharge.

Morning circle:

12:30 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.

This session involves group activities such as show-and-tell, music and movement, cultural discussions, or group games. It helps children develop essential listening, sharing, and social skills while celebrating Indian traditions.

Physical activity:

12:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

Children engage in active play, including outdoor games like kho-kho, kabaddi, or running, or indoor activities during extreme weather. This promotes physical well-being and coordination.

Goodbye:

2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Children gather their belongings, receive any notices or handouts, and wait for their parents or guardians to pick them up.

Optional lunch bunch

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Offered twice a week for an additional fee, this extended program allows children to spend extra time socializing and participating in creative activities. Children bring their lunch from home for this session.

Note:
Children are required to bring their own snacks and lunch from home, reflecting the nutritious and cultural food preferences of Indian families.
